As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowDuke Realty Corp. said today it has acquired a warehouse in Savannah, Ga., bringing its leased warehouse space in the port community to 5.3 million square feet.
The purchase of the 176,000-square-foot warehouse was disclosed today as Duke announced second-quarter investment activity.
The Indianapolis-based real estate investment trust said it logged $232.5 million in new developments and acquisitions in the quarter and sold $102.4 million worth.
“We are pleased that we continue to find solid development opportunities even in a slowing economy,” CEO Denny Oklak said in a statement.
Duke has been accumulating property in the port, which is the fourth-largest in the nation.
