Watching the latest and greatest meeting on this project, the Westfield Economic Development guru pointed out that where this will be built currently is a the largest parking lot within Grand Park. It holds roughly 900 parking spots. The proposed nearby parking garage that will be built will hold roughly 500 parking spots. So where will the roughly 400 vehicles whose spots will be lost park? Since it’s opening, Grand Park has suffered from a lack of parking spots. On busy days, people actually park in the grassy median on 186th St, which borders Grand Park. Another poorly planned development?
