The problem with the quote from “The Lancet” a once reliable source is that recently they have gone full woke. Being forced to retract papers, siding with Palestinians on “October 7”, Covid, the list goes on and on. Now they can’t be trusted on anything. The worst thing about the media deciding to bend to liberal story lines is that they will never regain trust.
So I’m wondering based on this ruling, who does have standing to bring s suit, if it’s not someone who suffered harm from this action? Is it congress? Is it a starving person in Africa?
The real question should by why can one individual over rule a congressional mandate which was established by constitutional rules granting only congress, with representation from all parties, the power to determine where funds will be expended? For one man to have the final say in how federal dollars are spent is a very dangerous precedent.
