I’m glad Braun has $625,000 to just throw away.
At the same time much of the state is recovering from a 1,000 year flood to boot
It is easy to do when it is not your money !
Braun and Rokita love to waste our tax dollars on their personal screw-ups.
So let’s just pay a legal bribe with taxpayer dollars to make this guy go away?!?
I would walk away “amicably” for this amount of money. Was last week’s press release all lies because they wouldn’t stand up in court because it sounded like the governor had a pretty good case. This doesn’t pass the smell test.
Governor Braun paying two people for one job with taxpayer dollars because the independent decision making board member didn’t do as you ordered him to do behind the scenes and indirectly in media quotes.
Paying out his contract isn’t a settlement. The governor screwed up again and this smells more like hush money than a settlement!
David B. agree 1000%
David B. agree 1000%
I forgot, Beckwith and his followers will solve al of this with prayer.
+1
+1 Braun is desperately trying to show that he cares about electricity affordability and is having about as much success as his prior push to reduce property taxes. In both cases, it’s not that easy because there are other people and factors involved. He’s learned another lesson. Who’s advising this guy?
Braun has other priorities. Like getting his new interstate highway built from Jasper to Evansville so his trucking company can benefit by cutting down its transit time. Politics stinks. Every elected position should have mandatory term limits. Although Senator McConnell of Kentucky claims we already have those…”they are called elections”.
So Tony C., can we expect that you will campaign and vote against your state and federal representatives, and any state wide officers. If not, then don’t talk to anyone about automatic term limits. You want certain elected officials gone? Then go do something about it. We do have elections, and that’s where office holders get terminated. Term limits gets rid of the good politicians as well as the bad, and as a society we don’t benefit when good politicians are removed.
COMPLETELY INDEFENSIBLE !!
One party, supermajority rule leads to no checks and balances. The dirty laundry started to come out as Braun tried to justify the firing. Who knows what Zay had on Braun. Maybe nothing, but it seems like they both said, “quick, let’s settle and throw the dirty laundry back in the hamper.” No repercussions to Zay or Braun, just like no repercussions to SOS Morales. “They may be crooks, but at least they’re our crooks” says the supermajority.
