Great repurpose.
!!!!!!!!!
100% Agree!
Super idea. But, still need senior apartments along White River hill behind seminary. Still waiting for that project.
From resource draining to resource producing with the huge plus of saving this grand structure seems like a great solution. Kudos
Great idea, but the developer/management company has no online profile whatsoever. Pretty big red flag in the hospitality industry. Most management co.’s are keen to brag about their accomplishments online. Not even a LinkedIn Company profile. Wondering if proper due diligence was paid here.
https://purposelodging.com
Compare https://purposelodging.com to https://dorahg.com/ or the myriad other local management companies websites – just not a great look in my opinion as someone who works in the industry.
Restoration Hardware is open and wonderful, and now another upscale catch for Butler / White River. With Golden Hill and Newfields, that area is an amenity rich area in the center of the city.
It’ll be a fantastic addition to the Butler campus!! The Purpose Lodging website already has it listed as a future project.
This is great news for all, and congrats to Danko, et al for saving the building!!
Outstanding news! Congrats BU!!! Love the rendering!
Terrific, wise decision.
Great to see reuse instead of destruction. Ross Hall is a beautiful structure. Its character and style much more attractive than some new boxy unappealing glass structures.
How this building could even be considered for the wrecking ball without repurposing the interior for this, or student housing is disturbing. Beautiful architecture. Hope it’s very successful.
I don’t see a hotel thriving here. But at least the interior work will be mostly done by the time it comes to identify the next use.
