  1. I want to experience a life where I spend $1.5mil for a property, thousands with an architect, and potentially $2mil+ to construct a new place for others to read books and drink coffee… That being said, I will go drink coffee there.

  2. This is so sad!! Only in Carmel would someone tear down a perfectly beautiful home they paid $1.5 million for, to build a new building costing probably an additional $2 million, in its place. That will be some expensive coffee!! There is plenty of new construction in downtown Carmel. Please keep some of the beautiful, historical buildings.

  3. Washington Township & Carmel have each seen many old home gobbled up for absurd amounts of money, then torn down & rebuilt. Some of these teardown-rebuilds have been of historical significance, including the Williams Creek house that the Vonnegut family moved to after going bankrupt.
