Reminder, the entire Indiana Supreme Court, which has five Republican justices, agreed that Rokita went too far in the original case. The two justices in the 3-2 decision wanted a more severe punishment than the one Rokita got. Todd was one person away from losing his law license and his response has been to flip the Supreme Court the bird. Losing his law license for a period of time is the appropriate response to someone who believes he is too important a person to have to follow the same policies as everyone else.
I think a suspension of 3.5-4 years would be acceptable in lieu of losing his law license entirely. Then the governor would have to appoint a new AG for the remainder of the term.
Rokita loves dragging this out as it is costing the taxpayers and not him personally to continue the fight. He is also showing his supporters and fan base how Trumpy he can be, ar their expense. He needs to be impeached and removed from office, total embarrassment.
