Bad math! From the story: “The median sales price for a home sold in the area in April rose 1.1%, to $316,000, compared with $310,000 in April 2025.”
$316,000 is an increase of almost 2% (1.94% to be precise) from $310,000, not 1.1%. That’s a non-trivial understatement.
