There was a public hearing in Fort Wayne on Tuesday, organized by County Council – without a direct role on this issue – to get public input, and a couple hundred attended. A definite majority who were there spoke out against a casino in Allen County.
In an era where it seems public opinion has little-to-no impact, it seems the needle was moved here, if only by legislators to hedge their bets, no pun intended, lol
