Framing a Class C misdemeanor for being in a bad, often unavoidable, situation while providing zero new resources for housing and health as “compassionate” is disgusting.
The bill is a front for Palantir to cause prison overcrowding which they can then profit off.

That’s not what the Bill states at all. You added all those sentiments. I took my kids to Disney on Ice downtown and we literally had to step over 2 people just sitting and relaxing in front of the steps up to Gainbridge like it was their living room. I understand homelessness but we shouldn’t let it get out of hand like it is in larger cities. Tourist and business won’t come to your city if it’s just a camping ground for homeless and drug users. It’s easy to dismiss these things if you don’t live downtown, you just come to visit then leave. I won’t even talk about the crime and physical assaults committed on people living and visiting downtown. Something needs to be done and passive approach never solves anything but make you city look like a wasteland.
