  1. Great idea and hopeful for sure.
Reality suggests otherwise, that the plan will need the much hated flock cameras as this will be like Disneyland for bad actors and an outdoor shooting range.
I personally want to be optimistic about things in general, but the headlines every day just don’t support that.

  2. Let’s finish the never ending road construction and remove the orange cones and signs. That would go a lot further towards making the city appear to be well managed.

  3. This plan seems like an optimistic pipe dream of an organization only interested in furthering itself as a big player. Keeping Indy beautified is a full time job and it has never been accomplished, only eyewash and self
promotion over the years. Taking a 50 year credit, when mayor Goldsmith didn’t even accept them until well into his second term, and he was first elected in 1991. It was still the Clean City Committee until the later ’90’s. We are still waiting on the quality over quantity, and these proposed development projects for $5M seem typical for the idea of getting ready to get ready, but unable to actually do the right thing and the right deed.

    1. I see KiB folks out working quite often when I’m out and about. They’re always busy doing something. They take volunteers. Maybe you could doing something productive and plant some trees with them one day instead of whining about the state of things as if you aren’t a participant in society too.

    2. Stop commenting on things you know nothing about. KIB is a great organization. I volunteered in High School. My favorite experience was rescuing baby ducks from the sewer when we were cleaning up the area around Lafayette Square.
