  1. The new Speaker is, like our own Jim Banks, an election denier and far-right extremist who will be little more than a puppet to his master, Donald Trump. This will not end well for the Republican Party, which in the House of Representations is now controlled by a majority of certifiable crackpots. I predict voters will return control of the House to the Democrats in the 2024 elections and send Trump back to private life (wherever the courts decide that should be).

    1. I don’t believe Republicans can be described as a political party since TRUMP converted them to cult members of his MAGA cult loyal only to him.

    2. Get vaxxed guys! Winter is coming.

Make sure you let people know you support Israel, but also kinda support Palestine, but don’t support Hamas, which means you support the IDF, which means you don’t support Palestine, which means you want Israel annihilated…and did you know we were also supporting a proxy war in Ukraine until 15 minutes ago?

Mercy me; it’s so tough being the culturally and intellectually sophisticated party in 2023.

    3. Some people aren’t just cut out for leadership, Lauren. Esepcially “moderate” nihilists who want to blow everything up because, at the end of the day, they don’t have anything to offer but the joy of watching the government punch down on someone they’ve trained you to hate.

And you’re willing to give them your money and let them run your lives while they traipse around, the new uniparty of idiots.

      Idiocracy come to life.

kakistocracy – a government run by the worst, least qualified, and/or most unscrupulous citizens.

    4. For once, Lauren is right. It is tough being the “culturally and intellectually sophisticated party in 2023″…..since the GOP refuses to do their jobs of legislating. They can barely keep the government open! They are losers and somehow have people like Lauren convinced they are winning. VERY SAD!

  2. So how long will it be before this guy gets kicked out of the position by his own party for doing his job? I’m guessing he’ll last less than a month. The GOP is a joke. I’m sure their internal meetings would make for great reality TV. Too bad they aren’t supposed to be in DC as entertainers.

    1. Alas, Wesley, that ship sailed in 2016. The GOP does view DC as a reality show, with a bunch of Apprentices sucking up to Trump so he won’t say “you’re fired” to them.
