Nevada-based logistics firm to create nearly 200 jobs in Boone County

A Nevada-based logistics firm plans to establish a 350,000-square-foot facility in Boone County and hire 199 employees by the end of 2024.

ITS Logistics LLC announced Tuesday that it plans to invest $11.8 million on its first Midwest location, in Whitestown at 4683 Albert S. White Dr.

Ryan Martin, president of ITS Logistics, said in a press release that he believes Indiana is a “place where we truly feel that we can grow our culture and one day provide employment for more than 500 ITS team members.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered ITS $1.5 million in conditional tax credits if it meets its job-creation goals. Whitestown is considering additional incentives.

Founded in 1999, the company last year generated nearly $500 million in revenue, providing services such as freight brokerage and asset lite transportation, dedicated and expedited transportation, e-commerce fulfillment, and complete transportation management solutions.

The company has 1 million square feet of distribution space on the West Coast and employs 500 workers across Nevada, California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

ITS said adding space in Indiana will allow it to offer national omnichannel distribution and fulfillment services to nearly 90% of the U.S. population within a two-day turnaround period.
