    1. What part of “low-income housing” is unclear to you? This is housing of last resort for, as another poster puts it, “the least among us”.

    2. Anthony, if it were that easy, trust me, they would have been gone. There is a lack of 55000 affordable units of housing for low-income families in Indianapolis. There is no place to go.

  1. Half a million dollars to provide security for the least among us would be a better use of public funds than spending it on a whitewash job for the mayoral team’s sexual harassment scandal. The mayor should donate the necessary funds from his campaign stash. That would be actual leadership.

  2. Good. I’ve done outreach work in that building and it’s atrocious. How can we expect to combat our housing and homeless problem when our public housing is in such dire shape and so mismanaged?!

  3. This is typical of federal funded low income housing in Indianapolis, especially managed by the IHA and its predecessors. No money, no budget, and no one willing to take charge to get it all fixed or maintained. It’s been on the repeat cycle since it all started.
