Rise’n Roll Bakery will open its downtown location next week in the Ardmore building at 107 E. New York St.

The bakery plans to have a soft opening Wednesday and Thursday, and it will open to the public at 7 a.m. Aug. 20. The first 100 customers in line will receive giveaways, including free donuts every week for a year for the first person in line.

Franchisee Casey McGaughey also operates Rise’n Roll locations in Broad Ripple, Fishers and Greenwood.

Rise’n Roll also has a location in Avon.

Rise’n Roll is an Amish-style bakery with 15 locations across Indiana. It offers doughnuts, cookies, pies, cinnamon rolls, breads, cheeses and other fresh-made items.

IBJ first reported on Rise’n Roll’s planned downtown store in November.

  1. I just must not get it because I have consistently been not impressed by their donuts. They’re just okay as far as I can tell.

Give me Long’s or Donut Shop any day of the week.
