  1. There are no more college teams…it’s all just a pro league. At least for the top 50 or so schools. It’s sad, but it may increase attendance at smaller universities whose teams are not composed of highly paid athletes masquerading as students.

    Time to make it formal. The NFL should have a minor league, like baseball, only pay them better. Then we can skip the travesty of pretending to be students while playing football…

    1. Good thought. Divert those who are only playing for money and not education (majority of players in college football today) into a minor league and revert college football back to being comprised of student athletes.

    2. Past time to pick do we have colleges with sports teams or sports teams with colleges ? Given coaches are more highly paid than college presidents . The choice has been made.
