My prediction is this admin’s self-dealing won’t stop until they’re behind bars, but we all know that’s not happening.
And it’s unlikely that the Democrats will pick up 19 seats in the Senate or enough votes from Republicans (to make an impeachment conviction possible).
I think everyone needs to stop thinking about impeachment. It’s not going to happen. There won’t be a 2/3 majority in the Senate, even if there is a majority in the House. An impeachment that cannot succeed is bad for the country, bad for Democrats, and good for the MAGAts.
an impeachment effort is nothing but a fund raising tool for both sides. They are the winners; the losers are the rest of us who hope that maybe someday, somehow, Congress and the White House can actually accomplish something good for the country.
