He’s bringing the same business acumen that caused a casino to go out of business … to America. If only someone had pointed that out.
The US produces way more AG products than it can go through. To keep prices up for our farmers, we have to export a ridiculous amount of soybeans and make fuel from corn ethanol. And that’s before taking subsidies into account.
No way that these tariffs don’t cause huge issues for farmers.
Last I checked, Subaru, Toyota, and Honda are “American automakers”, seeing as how they build cars using American workers in Indiana. Other “American automakers” are Nissan, VW, Kia, Hyundai, Mercedes, and BMW, building cars with American workers in assembly plants in a host of US locations.
