  1. “there was a mandate throughout the whole state regarding the redistricting”

If Republicans actually believed that, they’d have put it on the ballot for a statewide referendum instead of a primary election. Of course, they’re also fighting to close primaries … while making all citizens pay for them. Don’t believe what they say, believe what they do.

The sooner the Banks/Beckwith/Rokita era of the Republican Party goes extinct and ends the public careers of everyone involved, the better.

    1. Keith, they have been nothing but petty and vindictive. And the behavior will continue as long as people keep coming with excuses to enable it.

  2. If arms have to be twisted to force the will of the people to comply to your way of thinking, then maybe the
    concept is morally bankrupt,
This is a credibility problem for Trump and his “ Trump can do nothing wrong R supporters”.

    1. David G. The problem with that is they win the general here. Maybe if more voters were informed about what they were voting for that would be different. However, wouldn’t it be great to have to vote between two good candidates, rather than reluctantly voting for one?
