LOOOOL anything to keep that failing libertarian experiment alive, huh?
Cry harder.
NOW the guy says he wants to import foreign goods to bring down prices?! The Make American Great Again guy?! Methinks it’s time for the poor guy to find a nice senior community to retire to, he’s getting senile
I didn’t realize we had so many economists living in Indianapolis who were experts on the economy. Of course when they first started talking about the tariffs Trump was going to implement they blew their heads and said everything was going to go sky high in price but yet that hasn’t happened and inflation continues to slow.
Rea, does your first name happen to be Dia? We may not all be economists, but a simple check of facts will tell you that inflation has continued to increase in 2025 under Trump and his economic policies. If the rate of increase has slowed, that likely has more to do with the Fed resisting Trumps incessant calls for lowering interest rates. The annual inflation rate was 2.9% in August 2025, the highest since January, after holding steady at 2.7% in the prior two months. Higher prices for food and electricity are contributing to the increase. Additionally, some economists believe tariffs are putting upward pressure on prices for goods like clothing and furniture. Some economists predict a further acceleration in inflation over the next 6 to 12 months. Forecasts from groups like Capital Economics suggest US inflation could peak around 4% by the end of 2025 due to tariffs.
Deflect much?
And yet economist Nationwide have been wrong. They were blowing their heads off screaming the tariffs were going to cause spiraling inflation which in fact it is not happen. Now that he’s trying to help the American consumers by maybe importing be from another country you are complaining about that there’s no pleasing some of you people.
You just can’t stand that the inflation is slowing down under Trump when it was spiraling out of control under Biden with his relentless printing of money.
I guess you’ve missed all the billions upon billions of dollars that are going to be reinvested in this country by corporations that are moving manufacturing jobs back here. Just this week’s Stellantis announced they’re going to be moving production of vehicles that were scheduled in Canada back to the US.
Back to the fry machine Marshall I hear the timer going off and customers are waiting on their fresh fries.
In fact Marshall you’re so uninformed I wish you would tell me when inflation has ever not happened under any presidency?
It’s no deflection michael, it’s the truth. All of you ” armchair economist” get on here and bash everything that Trump does and make all these predictions which never come true.
