  1. It’s kind of refreshing to see these guys admitting that the layoffs are fueled by “slow demand, high expenses and uncertainty fueled by tariffs.”

    Amazon said it was cutting jobs because they “over hired because of the pandemic”. If that was true then why didn’t they need to cut in jobs in ‘23 or ‘24 when that supposedly evil but too senile to function other guy was in charge of the Whitehouse and economy? Maybe it’s really because the current administration is shredding the economy? I guess blaming the pandemic might let them fly under the radar of the current vindictive bully in the Whitehouse.
