IBJ reporter Mickey Shuey has been covering the Indianapolis hospitality industry from the start of the pandemic through this week’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament championship game. He interviewed dozens of people in an effort to piece together how the city has worked to emerge from the pandemic with the goal of restarting more quickly than other communities.

  1. What a great documentary to capture the many challenges of the past year in Indianapolis. We are so fortunate to have so many great leaders who worked tirelessly to find ways for Indy to recover and rebound. I am personally very proud of Indianapolis and the surrounding areas who truly demonstrate Hoosier hospitality and resilience. Thank you to all of our amazing front line workers in health care and hospitality, our state and local leaders, volunteers, Indy sports teams and event planners, Visit Indy, the Marion County Health Department, Ryan Vaughn and his Indiana Sports Corporation team, Convention Center, and hospitality industry in general. What a complex operation to plan and pull off. What a great March Madness! Indy did a GREAT job and offered all of us truly a GREAT Rebound! Thank you all.

  2. Please retain the identifying text for the speakers longer. For those who skip ahead, not knowing who is speaking can be confusing. Thank you.
