Indianapolis-based Just Marketing International recently signed a deal to handle public relations globally for Johnnie
Walker’s Formula One racing account.
JMI added three overseas employees to its London office to help with
the expansion into public relations. Previously, JMI has focused on representing corporations in their sponsorship deals with
motorsports teams, tracks and series.
“This is a significant evolution in the service side of our business,”
said Jon Flack, JMI executive vice president.
Johnnie Walker, a brand of whiskey produced by London-based Diageo,
is a corporate partner of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team, a relationship that began in 2005.
JMI will handle
Johnnie Walker’s track-side signage and hospitality, consumer programs and major responsible-drinking initiatives, as
well as other public relations programs.•
