Indianapolis Economic Development Inc. has hired its first director of international economic development.

Courtney Poulos, a former Indiana Economic Development Corp. project manager for international development, will help the
city recruit global companies and foster relationships with firms already located here that do business around the world.

According to an IEDI news release, Poulos will devote much of her attention to Europe, while overseeing a team of international
business developers IEDI will hire in the coming months to spearhead similar efforts in Asia and South America.

Poulos is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and the University of Kent-Brussels School of International Studies
in Belgium.
