Music for All summer camp moving to Ball State

One of the nation's largest summer instrumental music programs is moving to Ball State University starting next year.

The Muncie school announced Wednesday that the Music for All Summer Symposium will bring about 1,600 students and teachers
to campus June 18-25, 2011. Ball State is to host the camp at least through 2015.

The Music For All camp started in 1976. It was held at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1976-1991 and at Illinois
State University in 1992-2010.

Music for All moved its national headquarters to Indianapolis from Chicago in 2003 as part of the city's MusicCrossroads initiative.
