DMI Furniture says in a filing with the state Department of Workforce Development that it expects to permanently close the Huntingburg factory on Nov. 19. The company didn't give a reason for the closing decision.
Dubuque, Iowa-based Flexsteel Industries Inc. bought DMI in 2003. DMI makes home and office furniture and was founded in Huntingburg in 1911.
