A southern Indiana limestone company that has been in business for more than 100 years has new owners.
A Cleveland-based private equity firm called Resilience Capital Partners has purchased Indiana Limestone Co. from Johnson Ventures. The Herald-Times of Bloomington reports that terms of the sale were not made public.
Oolitic-based Indiana Limestone's main business is supplying blocks and slabs of limestone to other fabricators.
Rick Johnson had been a partner in Indiana Limestone. He says the sale is good for the company and the industry, and he predicted it will make Indiana Limestone a stronger firm.
