Thank you [Bill Benner] for writing the kind [column in the Jan. 26 issue] on Myles Brand. You hit the nail on the head. Myles has always taken on the toughest issues and, with wonderful integrity, has reached outcomes not always popular, but always right.
I was with him for every moment of the Coach Knight saga and can vouch for his commitment to the values of our university, and Indiana University basketball. I’ve never seen it reported in an entirely accurate way.
