Trendy Mass Ave loses one trendy shop, adds another

One locally owned retailer aiming for a New York City vibe was set to close and another has opened along Massachusetts
Avenue downtown.

The boutique
shop Tantrum, which opened in October 2007 in the first floor of the 757 Mass Ave condo building, planned to
close Jan. 31.

And men’s
designer boutique J. Benzal opened last month at 739 Massachusetts Ave. The shop is owned by Butler graduate and
New York transplant Mamadou Diallo. It sells tailored suits and accessories.
