Very uplifting [June 11 Maurer commentary]. Your question is well posed and it points to the historical “need” for scapegoats. It’s too bad, but it seems to be human nature for many to deal on this level. When a man does not have the ability to laugh at himself, he is taking life too seriously and needs to be critical of others.
