Mass Ave Animal Clinic plans to take the former home of the Outward Bound bookstore—about 2,000 square feet next door to Henry’s Coffee Bistro—at 625 N. East St., said Dr. Kurt Phillips, who is opening the clinic with partner Jennifer Glore. The veterinarians will split their time between the Indianapolis and Carmel locations.

The clinic is scheduled to open Aug. 6, and an open house to meet neighbors and their pets is scheduled for Aug. 17.•
