Architecture firm plans to expand, add 27 employees

Indianapolis-based architecture and engineering firm Guidon Design Inc. announced Thursday morning that it plans to add 27 jobs by 2016 as part of a $545,000 expansion.

The company, 2453 N. Delaware St., said the investment will go toward facility upgrades and purchasing computer software and information technology equipment.

Guidon has begun hiring administrative and engineering positions. The company was founded in 2011 by Luke Leising and is certified as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide Guidon up to $320,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $65,000 in training grants based on the company’s job-creation plans.

Guidon serves corporate, government, health care and higher education sectors.
