The governor's office has announced that Republican Tim Grogg is giving up his chairmanship of the Indiana Parole Board to become general counsel of the Department of Administration.
As a result, Virgil Madden will fill the Republican vacancy on the Indiana Parole Board, giving up his post as executive director of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. Meanwhile, Thor Miller is being promoted to chairman of the Parole Board.
Finally, to fill the vacancy at the Professional Licensing Agency, Pence has appointed Nicholas Rhoad the new executive director.
Rhoad most recently was director of business development for the Indiana Manufacturers Association. He starts his new job June 17.
