Velocity, the downtown strategic planning project launched by Indianapolis Downtown Inc., is holding a series of neighborhood roundtable meetings in June to gather input about the future of downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.

The meeting schedule is as follows: June 10, Near South, Wheeler Arts Community Center; June 12, Near East, John H. Boner Community Center; June 13, Near North, Harrison Center for the Arts; June 18, Near West, George Washington High School; and June 20, Central, The Athenaeum.

Start times for the 90-minute meetings range from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information and to register to attend, visit IndyVelocity.com.

The Velocity strategy, to be completed later this year, is intended to provide a framework and plan for improvements to downtown and surrounding neighborhoods over the next five years.
