Emmis' first project will be the 2009 spring/summer visitors guide. It will be distributed in April to area hotels and at other downtown locations.
Emmis also will produce the ICVA's convention and events calendar and its Web-based advertising, a new product being offered by the ICVA. Emmis' publishing division produces Indianapolis Monthly, as well as other guides and city magazines.
"Emmis produces excellent-quality publications with extensive circulation, not only in Indiana but in other key feeder markets throughout the U.S.," said ICVA President Don Welsh. "Emmis' proposal was centered on extensive marketing benefits that include print, radio and database elements that will help extend our brand awareness and overall marketing efforts."
