Heather L. Wilson has been named member-in-charge of the Indianapolis office of Frost Brown Todd LLC effective Jan. 1, the firm announced. Wilson will succeed Nelson D. Alexander, who has led the office since 2004.

A labor and employment attorney, Wilson focuses her law practice in the areas of employment litigation and general business counseling.

Alexander announced earlier this year that he would step down to devote more time to client service and business development initiatives. During his term as member-in-charge, the firm, formerly known as Locke Reynolds, merged with Frost Brown Todd, adding significant strength to the firm’s Midwest footprint.

Wilson serves on the board of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and has chaired its Civil Justice Committee as well as helped expand the organization’s annual Human Resources Conference the past eight years.
