A key bridge on northbound Interstate 65 has been shut down again.
A Friday statement from the Indiana Department of Transportation says northbound I-65 near Lafayette is closed to traffic because of more concerns about the Wildcat Creek bridge.
Officials say structural engineers monitoring the northbound bridge since it reopened on Wednesday noticed movement in a vertical riverbank pier. That prompted the closure.
I-65 northbound merges to one lane and is diverted onto U.S. 52 north of Lebanon.
There's no word from the transportation department about when the bridge might reopen.
