The Indianapolis Airport Authority on Tuesday announced new nonstop service from Indianapolis to Jacksonville, Fla.

The one-way fares will be as low as $48, the airline said. The flights will operate twice weekly.

Allegiant also offers nonstop service from Indianapolis to Las Vegas; New Orleans; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; and four other Florida spots: Fort Lauderdale, Orlando/Sanford, Punta Gorda/Fort Myers and St. Pete-Clearwater.
