The Aug. 29 issue of IBJ featured 2015 All-Star Agent Teams. Given that the data isn’t compiled from the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors but the agents themselves and we aren’t in the IBJ database, The Bonwell Tanner Group with lead agents Randie Bonwell and Karen Tanner were not featured as one of the top teams.
You can imagine how disappointing this was to us given our stats would have put us at No. 16 for teams with sales of $63.7 million and 456 transactions for the time period. That includes $28.9 million and 209 transactions in 2014 and $34.8 million with 247 transactions in 2015. Our largest transaction for 2014-15 was $1.8 million. There are three agents on the team.
As a locally owned, non-chain, boutique brokerage that has grown year after year with just three agents, these stats are beyond impressive. While we hate to have to toot our own horn this way, in all actuality that is the nature of this list. We are delighted to hear that we are now in the IBJ database and we can guarantee you that we will be on the official list next year.
