Housing sales
The number of active listings in the metro area has inched up—but not nearly enough to eliminate the seller’s market that now exists. The for-sale inventory remains low, at just more than 8,000 homes on the market, about 20 percent less than the 10,000 on the market a year ago. Home sales are up with the season and prices are up 5 percent over one year ago.•
