MD Logistics Inc. has opened its fourth warehouse in Plainfield and plans to add 50 employees by the end of 2023, the third-party logistics company announced Wednesday.
The Plainfield-based company said it spent $1 million for building improvements on the 180,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled facility at 2370 Perry Road.
The 23-year-old firm has an existing fulltime workforce of 300 in Plainfield, the company said.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered MD Logistics up to $350,000 in conditional tax credits based on the job-creation plans. The incentives hinge on the company’s ability to meet hiring goals.
The town of Plainfield is offering additional incentives.
