Housing sales

The number of active listings in central Indiana—at 5,077 at the end of February—remains low, although it's 15 percent higher than at the same time a year ago. The number of houses sold is on the uptick after a typical winter slowdown. From December through the end of February, the number of sales dropped 7 percent from the previous year while prices jumped by the same percentage.•
