There are no pet stores in Carmel that sell animals. Who is this protecting this is a ordinance? It is government regulation that is not needed. Another PR trick by Carmel and its rubber stampering City Council.
The reason there are no pet stores selling dogs or cats in Carmel is because it was ALREADY illegal for them to do so within the city limits. The new ordinance makes enforcement of the ban easier.
Now, perhaps you can get your pants out of a twist and focus on channeling your energy constructively.
“We’ve learned from other states that have banned pet stores, and what we deal with when this stuff happens is people hide (their activities) harder,” Troyer said.” Under this logic, why bother banning the manufacture and sale of meth?
Exactly. Because banning meth has really worked, right?
Glad to know that Carmel is do devoid of problems that this is the most pressing issue facing the City Council.
