  1. Just get rid of DHS. Its creation was one of many mistakes we made after 9/11. We gave Osama everything he wanted – two costly “forever wars” and a degradation of civil rights in the same of ‘sEcUrItY” (i.e. fear).

  2. The money spent on ICE would have been far better spent on more immigration courts to process people faster. Giving them a budget larger than the Marines makes zero sense, as does allowing them to build databases of American citizens who use their First Amendment rights to protest their actions.

    But I still find it fascinating the same pro-life Republicans who claimed they couldn’t breathe in a mask 5 years ago are demanding that ICE must be allowed to operate with masks. Wouldn’t they be better at their job, using their logic, with uncovered faces?
