Indiana governor concludes trip to Japan, South Korea

Indiana’s governor has wrapped up a weeklong trip to Japan and South Korea with state government officials and business leaders.

Gov. Eric Holcomb spent Tuesday in Tokyo where his meetings included time with executives from Subaru and Honda, both of which have major auto assembly plants in Indiana. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said Holcomb’s delegation also hosted a reception thanking business executives and others for their partnerships with Indiana.

Holcomb spent two days in South Korea as he started the trip Sept. 4 before going on to Japan.

The governor has more foreign travel plans coming up, with a trip to China and India that’s scheduled for Sept. 22-Oct. 5.
