    1. Most of CIB’s revenue is from excise taxes on hotel rooms, rental cars, and meals consumed downtown – much of which is from people outside of the Indy area.

    2. IIRC Marion and the donut counties are all paying increased food/beverage taxes for not only Lucas Oil Stadium, but also the yet-to-be-paid-off Hoosier Dome …

    3. Joe is correct. It’s no longer just hotel and rental car taxes but also a food and beverage tax that all diners (including residents) pay. Also, the food & beverage tax was expanded to the donut counties to pay for LOS except for Morgan County, which elected not to participate.

  1. I guess the big questions is was public money used for illicit drug transactions that fed Irsay’s addictions and death…Curious if there will be an investigation??
