Indiana reports 1,155 new COVID-19 cases; U.S. cases surpass 7M

The Indiana State Department of Health on Saturday reported 1,155 new COVID-19 cases and 11 additional deaths.

The department reported the testing of 9,643 more unique individuals. The cumulative positivity rate for unique individuals remained at 8.6% and the seven-day positivity rate for unique individuals fell to at 6.6%.

U.S. COVID-19 cases have now moved past the 7 million mark, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Following are the latest COVID-19 numbers from the Indiana State Department of Health. The department updates its data daily based on information received through 11:59 p.m. the previous day.

The cases and testing categories typically contain numerous duplicates—as many as 20% or more—that are later eliminated from the cumulative totals.
