Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continued to rise, reaching an all-time high Sunday of 3,401.
The health department reported the testing of 15,922 new individuals, bringing the cumulative total to 2,204,581.
Indiana reported another 38 deaths from COVID-19, the 34th time in 36 days that the daily report has included more than 25 deaths.
COVID-19 patients occupy 44.7% of the state’s intensive care beds. The state said 24% of its ICU beds are still available.
