Mickey Maurer’s column on Aug. 5 was exactly on the mark [“In Roe decision, justice tainted high court”]. We have glossed over and looked away from Brett Kavanaugh’s deceit. Your words—“besmirched,” “betrayed” and “flam-flam”— remind us of what went on.
In 1959, the first maxim I heard in law school was, “A lawyer’s tools are his words; they should be kept clean and sharp.” Yours always are.
