Letter: Maurer column will be missed

Mickey Maurer’s final column [Time for curtain to drop on quarter-century run, Dec. 6] brought back a lot of memories of past columns, most of which I agreed with, many of which I learned from, but all of which I frankly enjoyed. Along with a lot of other people, I will miss Mickey’s spot in the IBJ, but am consoled by the fact that his guiding hand will continue with this last major print publication in our city. Thank you!

My best to Mickey in his ongoing endeavors, like Mickey’s Camp, and in new pursuits, which will also no doubt benefit our community.
